Free Support to help your organisation grow

  • Does your organisation help to reuse, recycle or compost materials or resources?
  • Are you looking to improve, extend or grow the services that you provide?
  • If so then we may be able to help you.

The Third Sector Capacity Building Programme is run by WRAP and REalliance to help community organisations and social enterprises reach their full potential and in doing so to help the communities they serve and have a positive effect on the environment.

The programme is open to organisations operating in England and can provide support in a number of ways.  REalliance provide direct support to organisations where one of the team works alongside you for a few days helping you to review, develop or implement plans.  For changes likely to have a larger impact, REalliance can provide consultancy support (providing technical advice or management expertise) or fund an “interim manager” - someone to work within your organisation over a number of months to bring about the changes you want.

So far the programme has helped around a hundred organisations, large and small.  The types of support given include:

  • developing business plans
  • reviewing organisational systems and procedures
  • creating marketing plans and strategies
  • helping organisations prepare for future opportunities
  • introducing new services
  • expanding current services to new areas

The support is tailored for each organisation to help it meet the challenges it faces.  REalliance assign a case manager who will help you develop your ideas for support, guide you through the application process, oversee the support provided and provide any ongoing support.

For more information about the programme, please go to the website www.realliance.org.uk.  Here you can find some case studies highlighting some of the support the programme has given so far.

If you would like to find out more about how the programme could support your organisation, please call REalliance on 0117 907 1727 or email: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .

The programme also supports the development of new market opportunities for the sector as a whole and new ways for several organisations to provide services together.  If you have ideas for projects in either of these areas, please give REalliance a call to talk them through and see what we may be able to do to take them forward.

What is REalliance?
