GROWING WITH COMPOST TOOLKIT
This huge online resource is the result of two years hard graft from CCN and our partners: Ecological Recycling Society, Greece; Friends of the Earth, Slovakia; Czech University of Agriculture, Prague; RRUSE European network and Iason Training,Greece.
This innovative dynamic partnership project was funded from 2005-2007 to develop much needed social economy composting projects across Europe and to deliver training and educational support to local Community Composting initiatives.
The toolkit was one of many project outcomes including: training sessions; a network of demonstration sites; dissemination events in the UK and central Europe and the website www.growingwithcompost.org
The project was funded with support from the European Commission under the Socrates Grundtvig programme of European Education and Culture and in England and Wales by the Lloyds TSB Foundation
THE COMMUNITY COMPOSTING GUIDE
This is a more reader friendly guide in a ring-binder format (so you can add pages and information to keep it relevent to you and up to date). It covers all aspects of Community Composting and is recommended reading for anyone involved with or considering setting up a community composting project. Price to members £10.00, non-members £50.00 (including p&p).
THE MUCKING-IN PACK
The new guide superceeds this old classic, a joint publication by the Henry Doubleday Research Association and the Wildlife Trusts. The main text and illustrations are available as a free download as an introduction to Community Composting and encourage and inform anyone new to the either home or community composting.
