Micro Anaerobic Digestion
Anaerobic Digestion (AD) is a scalable technology, yet in Europe it is most frequently applied at a large industrial scale; whereas in the developing world small scale AD is the norm. Inspired by this and its’ members needs, the Community Composting Network (CCN), is developing very small AD units for decentralized, on-site treatment of waste and production of fertilizer and energy. Legislation Navigation: Community Composting and the law
Our legislation Navigation project, supported by WRAP, has been designed to guide community composters through recent changes in the legislation governing composting activities. In addition to one-to-one support for CCN members, we have produced an online guidance toolkit to guide existing and new community composters through the new regulations. Read more...
