Hazelhurst Community Supported Agriculture co-op with Heeley City Farm wish to appoint a Growing Team Leader.

The post holder will lead the cultivation and food growing at the Hazelhurst Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) site.

 

Salary: £17,161 p.a. pro rata
Hours: 18.5 average per week including some evening and weekend

The post is for an initial 6 months with possibilities of extension, funding allowing.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified grower to lead and develop the organic cultivation on the two acre site in the beautiful Moss Valley, just South of Norton, Sheffield and play an active role in the development of this co-op which aims to grow and supply organic vegetables for the benefit of local communities. The Grower will have support of the CSA co-op members and volunteers, and will play an active role in the Land Development group of the co-op.

She/he will be employed by and have management, technical and administrative support from Heeley City Farm and be accountable to the CSA Management Committee.
