Salary: £28,000-£30,000pa
Hours: This is a full-time role, core hours will be Tue-Sat 9:30-5:30,

The post is that of senior executive officer for Stepney City Farm, responsible to and working with its trustee board to manage and develop the whole organisation, ensure that it remains viable and take it forward into its next stage of growth. Responsibilities are wide-ranging, spanning the usual day-to-day activities of the organisation right up to initiating and managing farm projects and developing strategy and a vision that demonstrates a strong commitment to working within a diverse community.

Stepney City Farm is a four-acre urban farm based in the London Borough of Tower Hamlets. It is a registered charity and exists to provide educational opportunities for the local community and improve social welfare. The charitable company has been working since its launch in early 2009 to improve the capacity of the farm and start projects relating to community growing, permaculture, working with animals, volunteering and rural crafts.
