Employment, Training and Placements Manager

Salary :       £32,833 (FT)

An excellent opportunity within the UK’s co-ordinating body of 300+ furniture and appliance re-use organisations. If you are looking for a rewarding position that supports the expansion of voluntary and community organisations; this post will play an influential role in ensuring that FRN’s members increase their opportunities to work within the Government’s new Work Programme and to negotiate with the public and private sector partners preparing to run new welfare-to-work services.

Your main responsibilities will be to bring expertise and capacity building support to the sector’s provision of work-based placements. You will strategically influence policy and practice to bring about contractual opportunities, and encourage the incorporation of the re-use sector in the new DWP Work Programme.

You will need to demonstrate an understanding of Welfare to Work and/or employment and training programmes and the ability to build partnerships.
