The role will be to create and develop accredited training courses on community composting and to ensure the quality and consistency of training delivery via a network of training hubs and accredited trainers to community-based local food growing groups. You will be responsible for supporting trainers and groups to put their training into practice which includes the provision of start-up equipment. You will also play a key role in the promoting, monitoring, evaluating and disseminating the impacts of the project. We are looking for a versatile and creative training specialist, with experience of training trainers who is able to balance competing demands and has excellent people, I.T. and management skills. Ideally candidates should also have a good understanding of Community Composting and its links to sustainable production of local food crops.
The post is full-time until the end of March 2012 and half-time for the remainder of the project. It is a fixed-term contract until March 31st 2014 with a view to being made full-time on a permanent basis subject to funding. Ideally the post-holder will be based at the CCN office in Sheffield.
