International Compost Awareness Week 2010 - 2-8 May 2010 -“Give it a Grow”

Many of you will already be well into planning your events for Compost Awareness Week 2010 which this year runs from Sunday 2^rd May to Saturday 8^th May – and thanks to funding from WRAP we are able to offer financial help to make the word carry even further. The UK Theme this year is ‘Give it a Grow’ and the focus is on promoting the benefits of both home composting and using peat-free growing media.

The criteria for funding are that:

1. Your event must take place during Compost Awareness Week

3. You must submit photos and or film (or links to the film) of your event to CCN for a CAW’10 round up on the CCN website and the Growing Heap network journal.

An Application form (.doc) is attached below. The deadline for applications is Friday 23^rd April, 10.30am and is open to all full members of the CCN.
