This event has been rescheduled for Saturday 25th February in Newcastle.

The CCN Anaerobic Digestion Steering Group have been working on a test-build micro AD system with funding from Local food – the project is called mAD for Local Food and you can read some of the background on the CCN website here.

Our project partners, Cyrenians horticultural team will be hosting the event on the same site as the mAD system and we’d like to invite community groups, especially those composting food waste or growing local food along to come and find out more. The event is free but we are asking people to send us a cheque for £25 to be kept as a deposit, payable to CCN. Please write your name on the back of the cheque and we will return it to you at the event. The cheque will only be cashed if you do not attend, and do not give 48 hours notice.
