Cornwall Waste Action (CWA)  will be running a Composting Awareness Stall at Truro Farmers Market on Wednesday 5th May.  CWA  will be promoting the use of peat-free compost and providing additional information and advice on home composting.

There will be a compost competition and examples of “greens” and “browns” on the stall plus samples of readymade compost – both commercially produced (peat-free) and home-made. For the public there will be free samples of peat-free compost and seeds to grow in the compost as well as a composting pledge competition.

Truro Farmers Market is held on the Piazza at Lemon Quay from 9 am to 4 pm.
