Master Composters on the Moss
Friday, 30 April 2010 12:51

The Forth Valley Master Composter volunteers are going on a visit to Flanders Moss, to experience the peat bog, see the restoration work there and augment their understanding about the benefits of home composting. The SNH warden will meet us at a site that was previously prepared for peat extraction, but has been reprieved by restoration measures.  The site  is just off the B822 halfway between Kippen and Thornhill.  The site is on the side of the road furthest from Stirling.Friday 7th May 10.30 til lunch.

This event is Forth Valley Master Composter Scheme hosted at  Forth Environment Link
