Community Composting Network (CCN) is the UK-wide organisation that supports and promotes community groups, social enterprises and individuals which are involved in producing compost from green/food waste and using it in their local communities.

This event has been rescheduled for Saturday 25th February in Newcastle.
The CCN Anaerobic Digestion Steering Group have been working on a test-build micro AD system with funding from Local food – the project is called mAD for Local Food and you can read some of the background on the CCN website here.

Friday 15th July 10.30-3.00pm @ Chapel House Farm Allotments, Liverpool Rotters Community Composting and ARCH have the pleasure to invite you to the 2011 “Compost, Grow &Show” open day, presented by Fork to Fork and Little Dibbers beneficiaries. This event is about promoting healthy and affordable food. Featuring: Bring a hanging basket to fill; information on bees and pests; face painting; vegetable competition; composting wormery. The Growing Heap is the journal of the Community Composting Network. The Growing Heap contains news pages, articles on members projects, legislation updates, technical matters and best practice, and robust opinions and reviews of relevant and useful publications.

There is an absolute wealth of useful information and resources on all aspects of composting and other sustainability issues contained in these magazines.
