Pre-conference Tour of London's Hot Rot Spots
We can now tell you more about the pre-conference tour of London Community Composting sites on Thursday 20th September:
It begins at 10am from the pick-up point at Surrey Quays Station and will take in Pepys Community Forum, Aardvark Recycling, Freightliners City Farm (this stop includes lunch at their new café) and finally ending at Sunnyside Community Gardens at 4.30pm. The fee for the tour (which includes all transport and a gorgeous lunch) is only £20.
Following the tour from 6-8pm there will be a social evening at Sunnyside with Jane Wilde from East London Community Recycling Partnership discussing “London leads the way – community composting city style”, this is free.
