CCN would like to thank WRAP (Waste & Resources Action Programme) for kindly sponsoring this event. WRAP works in partnership to encourage businesses and consumers to be more efficient in their use of materials and recycle more things more often. This helps us to minimise landfill, reduce carbon emissions and improve our environment.

WRAP aims to divert as much separately collected biodegradable kitchen and garden waste as possible from landfill. One way it does this is by supporting the growth of the composting industry, and focusing on developing markets for quality compost. This benefits customers - such as landscapers, growers, farmers and brownfield developers - as well as the environment.
